Blazing New Trails!
We did not get to be an Industry Leader by following in everyone’s footsteps. AirSep Corporation is a unique success story based in NY. Some 20 years ago, our founders started a company whose main goal was to provide an innovative on-site oxygen source. Two decades later, AirSep Corporation is still synonymous with oxygen generation. Whether it is for hospitals or industrial applications like mining, steel mills, paper mills, water treatment facilities, etc., AirSep products deliver the oxygen where you need it, when you need it!
AirSep was founded on January 9, 1987. With over 300 employees worldwide and an expansive distribution network in over 100 countries, we are a truly global organization. Our revenues exceed US$100,000,000 annually, with 70% of that coming directly from US sales.
Our customers include some of the biggest names in the gas industry: Air Liquide, Praxair, Linde, Air Products. All of our customers recognize that we have built a solid reputation for providing them with quality systems that deliver as promised!
Two Organizations to Meet Any Oxygen Demands!
AirSep Corporation consists of two distinct divisions.
The Medical Products Division is responsible for the distribution of single–patient, therapeutic oxygen concentrators. With products ranging from the world’s smallest portable oxygen concentrator, the Freestyle, to the world’s most popular 5 liter per minute concentrator, the Newlife, the Medical Products Division has millions of units in service around the world.
The Commercial Products Division handles all other applications, including but not limited to:
Our smallest oxygen generators can deliver 12 cubic feet per hour while our largest installed plant can produce 100 tons of oxygen per day! No other company in the world can claim to have the range of products which Airsep has delivered and installed.
State-of-the-art Manufacturing Facilities!
AirSep is housed in modern facilities with over 120,000 square feet of manufacturing space near the city of Buffalo, in the state of New York. Our facilities are conveniently located near Niagara Falls and the Canadian border, making them ideal for easy transportation of our equipment anywhere in the world.
With state-of-the-art fabricating equipment like TIG/MIG welding machines, dual 20 Ton cranes, over 300 HP of available air compressor power, 7 loading docks, and several motor/generator sets to replicate power requirements from anywhere in the world, CPD is equipped to tackle jobs of ANY size and shape! Even the largest jobs are fabricated/assembled in our facility to ensure the highest quality standards are employed.
It’s All About the Swing!
Oxygen is essential for supporting life as well as many other industrial and environmental applications. This makes it one of the largest selling chemicals on the planet. AirSep has adopted the motto: “Why buy when you can make your own oxygen?”
Oxygen exists in the atmosphere around us. It makes up approximately 21% of the air we breathe. If only that oxygen could be separated…
The technology behind all of our standard oxygen generators is the Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) process. It is the engine that drives the separation of oxygen from air. It is a purely physical process; there are no chemical, electrical, or other reactions in our process.
For certain specific applications, we can make a variation of the PSA process, called the Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VSA/VPSA) process. The only differences are that VPSA uses a feed blower instead of an air compressor and the absorber vessels are desorbed through a vacuum blower. The net result is a significant decrease in the power consumption of the system as a whole. However, these plants are typically only cost effective for very large oxygen capacities.

Onyx - Self-Contained Oxygen Generators for Commercial UseAir contains 21% oxygen, 78% nitrogen, 0.9% argon, and 0.1% other gases. AirSep Oxygen Generating Systems separate oxygen from compressed air through a unique Pressure Swing Adsorption process. The PSA process uses molecular sieve (a synthetic zeolite), which attracts (adsorbs) nitrogen from air at high pressure and releases (desorbs) it at a low pressure. |
