History

Affiliated with the Cretex Companies, Inc., Cretex Specialty Products, located in Waukesha, WI, was established in September 1983 to market the Cretex Chimney Seals to the municipal and engineering community for sealing the frame chimney area of both existing and newly constructed manholes. The inflow of storm water into any sewer system can be extremely costly. Cretex Chimney Seals are designed to reduce surcharging/bypassing and lower pumping and treatment costs in a sanitary sewer system. In storm sewer systems, Cretex Chimney Seals provide protection from infiltration of surrounding soil which in turn can undermine pavements. Cretex Specialty Products exclusive family of seals stops this type of inflow, and the pavement settlement caused by inflow, while providing a flexible seal between the manhole frame and masonry chimney and cone. Best of all, all of our rubber seals come with our exclusive 25 or 50 year warranty

As Cretex Specialty Products moves forward it will remain committed to our customers by being the leader in the industry by continually identifying and providing the industry with solutions that stand the test of time.
