| We are located at Rauma, Finland. Picturesque Old Rauma has been inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Even today it is the heart of the town, where living, social life and business go hand in hand. Rauma is the third-oldest town in Finland founded in 1442.
Our history goes back to the year of 1929. Since the 1950s, the company has concentrated entirely on the development and manufacture of conveyors and bulk materials handling systems belonging to different globally operating corporate groups.
After Management Buyout in 2001 we continued in the field as a private company, fully owned by its operative management and employees until October 2007 when we became part of the Rauma based Hollming Group (www.hollming.fi). Total number of employees is 120. The annual turnover is over 40 MEUR. Hollming Group employs over 1,000 people and the Group's net sales in 2008 are estimated to 160 MEUR.
At the close of the year 2007 our official name was shortened from BMH Wood Technology Oy to BMH Technology Oy to better profile the operation of the entire company.
Our engineering department has the latest computer aided design tools, including 3D-modelling, to ensure fast and flexible service security on projects. Competence in our own technology, project management, manufacture and erection are keys to our success in building turnkey projects for our customers all over the world.
Delivery of comprehensive turnkey installations worldwide is strongly supported by our own workshop manufacture. Key equipment and components, like screw reclaimers, big crushers etc. are manufactured by our big and well-equipped workshops, which guarantees their high quality and reliable delivery times. |
