Ambidata is a company with 2 departments one dedicated to environment solutions to water treatment and a software development department dedicated to develop LabWay-LIMS a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) software solution to analisys laboratorys. LabWay-LIMS is a Laboratory Information Management System dedicated to Laboratorys of environmental analysis. It is a Software that implements the entier process in a laboratory from creation a client budgets, Samples calendaritation, Samples Collecting, Samples Control, Lists of Work, Validation Processes, and publication of results.

Ambidata - Equipamentos e Produtos para Ambiente, Lda (Equipment and Products for the Environment, Limited company) is a young company founded in 1999 with a wealth of accumulated experience resulting both from its members’ participation in other companies of national and international renown, and from experience in implementing solutions with an excellent record of success and client satisfaction.
Ambidata is currently undergoing substantial growth and expansion. We are implementing a Quality Management System according to ISO 9000:2000.

Our Organization
Ambidata (limited company) is structured in two separate parts: environment and software:
The Environment Unit ensures the implementation of measuring systems (chlorine, pH, discharge, level, etc.), monitoring and telemanagement (Wireless, GPRS or SMS), as well as the integral supply, expansion or restructuring of water treatment stations: from the solution’s conception through to post-sales technical support, and supply and assembly of equipment and chemicals.
The Software Unit is responsible for the development of software for laboratory management, designed for analysis laboratories, and for the management of analysis results for water and waste water companies.
Our Environment Solutions
The treatment and supply of potable water has progressed immensely in recent years in Portugal. In the past, existing water treatment stations and equipment were often obsolete and inadequate, and the authorities responsible for water treatment were often lacking in dilligence.
Fortunately, nowadays many water treatment stations are better equipped, and use dedicated chemical products for the treatment of potable water. In this way, the use of chemicals such as aluminium polychloride, chlorine dioxide or ozone, polyelectrolytes, activated carbon, etc., has been increasing constantly.
Rather than just sell equipment or chemical products, Ambidata undertakes to supply complete water treatment solutions to its clients, taking on full responsibility for the water treatment process, from the diagnostics stage and conception of the solution through to the implementation of the water treatment process, startup and regular technical support.

Ambidata’s Software unit Creates, Develops, Implements and Maintains a range of Software Solutions. We are not a Software house dedicated to developing applications for any area. We have chosen to specialise exclusively in three areas:

- Pathological Anatomy Laboratories
We have become experts in these areas, with a multidisciplinary team which includes Informatic Engineers, Chemists, Environment Specialists and Pathological Anatomy Technicians.
