| Quantum Compliance Systems, Inc. is a privately held, profitable operation, with over 1500 sold licenses. It was founded in 1986, by a team of environmental engineering and computer science professionals who knew “there had to be a better way” based on their direct experience in EH&S.
Since 1986, Quantum Compliance Systems, Inc. (Quantum) has been helping corporations increase productivity and profits using information technology to comply with Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) regulations. It has also evolved from a regional software supplier to an international software implementor in multiple vertical markets. Many of our multinational Fortune 200 customers have been using FacTS™ for over 7 years, upgrading to newer versions of FacTS™ as released, and adding new functionality as their business needs change. These customers have come to rely on the product and support provided by Quantum.
Quantum delivered the first EH&S Reporting System database system in 1987. The system was designed to analyze and produce information that would inform employees of the hazardous materials in their environment. In 1989 Quantum released the first version of their flagship product platform, which was renamed Facility Tracking System (FacTS™).
In 2003 Quantum offered a JAVA interface to its flagship product, through its introduction of the FacTS™ JAVA API. This technology uses the browser-based nature of the Java programs that allows for easy enterprise-wide rollout. There is no PC-based installation; anyone with a web browser can be given access. FacTS™ Security controls access to the system, as well as user specific settings such as menus and language preference. Customers have the choice of installing FacTS™ on their servers or run it as a hosted application (SaaS).
In 2007, Quantum partnered with Yellowfin International to use their proven technology to add Dashboard, a Business Intelligence tool to the existing FacTS™ EH&S suites. The Dashboard communicates complex information quickly; translating corporate data into a rich, graphical presentation using gauges, maps, charts, and other graphics to show multiple results together. It also provides clients with an easy to use ad hoc reporting tool. This new tool is available to both current and new clients.
In the same year, Quantum also partnered with Satyam Computer Services Limited to resell FacTS™ software in India and Asia; and using staff in their offices around the world, they will partner with Quantum on international implementation of FacTS™.
Today Quantum is focused on developing commercial information management tools for EH&S. We provide extensive professional support services including training, data entry, software maintenance, implementation consulting, and software customization. Our employee talent pool has over 200 years combined experience in EH&S and software development/deployment, and has allowed the company to grow and provide a client service level that places Quantum at the top of its industry vertical. | |  |
