Intensive 2 day SimaPro software training in Amsterdam.
This intensive 2 day training learns you how to create and interpret LCA studies with SimaPro. It is suitable for SimaPro beginners, as refresher course for intermediate users and also for those who want to learn more about the practical application of LCA.
You can easily combine it with our one day Introduction to LCA training to learn the practice of LCA.

What you learn
You will learn how to model LCA having the most profit of using SimaPro 7.
- Structure of SimaPro: libraries and projects.
- Modelling a life cycle in SimaPro: processes and product stages, waste an disposal scenarios.
- Analyzing and interpreting results
- Monte Carlo uncertainty assessment
- Data management: import/export, appending substance names.
LCA in practice: A whole afternoon where you can model your specific LCA under the guidance of our trainers. This is also the perfect opportunity to discuss individually about your questions on theory or practice of LCA.
In our training we put special emphasis on practical, hands-on experience using our SimaPro software. Computers are available, you are free to bring your own laptop.
Optional LCA review package
LCA is something you learn in practice. Our trainings teach you a lot, but you may feel the need for additional support during your first project. For this reason, we offer an optional LCA review package which gives you extended support and reviews of your LCA project.

The one day introduction to LCA training is scheduled on the Wednesdays before these trainings.
Training starts 9.00 AM the first day and end around 17.00 PM on the last day.

Location
The courses will be held at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky (provisional location). This hotel is conveniently located in the city centre, near Central Station which has very frequent train connections to Schiphol airport.

The costs for this 2 day training are 1500 Euro per person, including training materials, lunches and one evening dinner, but excluding travel arrangements and insurance.
If you combine this training with the one day training Introduction to LCA, the total costs for 3 days are 2000 Euro. These trainings are exempt of VAT.
The optional LCA review package is 1200 Euro, excluding VAT when applicable.
Conditions
Attendees need a basic understanding of the operation of Windows software. As the training and all documentation are in English, a reasonable English language skill is expected.
To make sure all participants have a similar starting level, we require that participants have gone through the practical examples in our SimaPro Tutorial.
The minimum number of participants for each training is 5 persons, the maximum number is 10 persons. If the course is fully booked you can be put on a waiting list. Your registration is only definitive after receipt of payment.
PRé Consultants reserves the right to make changes in the program, date, location and trainers or to cancel the training if enrolment criteria are not met or when conditions beyond its control prevail. In such cases, every effort will be made to contact each trainee and an alternative will be offered. If a training is cancelled for any reason, PRé Consultants is limited to refund of the training fee only.
