Aardvark opened its doors in March of 2002 with two drill rigs (one in Ontario and one in Bermuda), two employees, and one client. The company now operates seven drill rigs, employs 16 people, and has increased its client base to close to 100 engineering and planning firms. Aardvark is owned by Matthew England, President and Darren Juneau, Vice President. Matthew has more than 14 years of drilling experience and has logged over 28,000 hours of drilling throughout Ontario and Bermuda. Darren has worked in the drilling and engineering field for over 14 years and is a Certified Engineering Technologist with a degree in Civil Engineering and diploma in Geotechnical Technology. Aardvark is a licensed Well Contractor through the Ministry of the Environment and employs certified CMT installers, licensed Well Technicians and Assistant Well Technicians. All employees are WHMIS trained and the majority of Aardvark`s employees have received First Aid training from the Canadian Red Cross.
