AirScience Technologies specializes in the supply of state-of-the-art air emission and pollution control systems and gas separation for the primary and secondary industries more specifically Chemical, Oil & Gas, Power, PTA, Viscose and Waste Management industries. AirScience Technologies was formed in 1993 from the merger of the VOC control activities of a Canadian company and the Air Pollution Control division of a Pittsburgh PA corporation.
Better Air Is Our Business
The people of AirScience have been in the field of air pollution control world wide for a long time. As engineers their knowledge and experience go back many decades. They actually were part of the successive waves of industrial air pollution clean-ups, in aluminum, steel, cement, waste, power plants, etc. world wide. Their capabilities are now focused in bringing technical solutions to more sophisticated air emissions problems and in parallel developping new technologies to address the pressing issue of reducing green house gases. Also in the last five years, AirScience has established technical relationships with such companies as Kanzler Verfahrenstechnik of Austria, Applied Plasma Physics of Norway and Hofstetter of Switzerland and is integrating their products and processes into its offerings.
The recent technical corporate agreement of AirScience and Airox-Nigen of India, a well respected maker of gas separation systems, completes the product line of the company and gives it an entry into the fast developing Indian and middle east markets for gas separation, emission abatement and transportation fuels production.

Nitrogen GeneratorsOur Nitrogen Generators operate on Pressure Swing Adsorption, known as PSA Technology. PSA Technology is based on the selective adsorption phenomena of gas molecules under pressure on the surface of highly porous and efficient adsorbent, In the case of Nitrogen Generation the Adsorbent is Carbon-based Molecular Sieve(CMS). When compressed air is used for nitrogen generation, the adsorption towers are filled with CMS. The molecules of oxygen, moisture ... |

VOC BiofiltersIn biofiltration, VOC laden air is humidified, then passed through a proprietary AirScience filter bed composed of a variety of materials such as: organic matter, bulking agent, acid buffer, holding agent and nutrients. There, naturally occurring microorganisms break down the offending compounds, releasing clean air to the atmosphere along with harmless and odor free carbon dioxide and water. |
