Strip shaped diffuser technology was introduced in 1995 under the worldwide trade mark AEROSTRIP®. Why are AEROSTRIP® diffusers so efficient? Because size matters! – small bubbles have a huge surface area. The large surface area and the excellent distribution improve oxygen transfer compared to conventional diffusers. Lower air flow rates are thus required for the same amount of oxygen transferred. This means power savings. What lifespan do the AEROSTRIP® diffusers have? AEROSTRIP® diffusers have an expected lifespan of 10-15 years. Better lifetimes have been recorded in some Aquaconsult plants.

About Us

AQUACONSULT Anlagenbau Ges.m.b.H. was founded in 1986 by Dipl.-Ing. Udo Meyer - who is active in the field of water and waste water treatment since 1961 and internationally renowned in this capacity - with the aim to produce and market highly efficient fine bubble aerators. The company grew quickly and employs 13 staff members at the office in Baden / Austria today.

Next to the sale of AEROSTRIP™ diffusers, the main business of AQUACONSULT Anlagenbau Ges.m.b.H. consists in planning and engineering of entire biological stage systems at waste water treatment plants whereby support of our customers is handled successfully by AQUACONSULT together with our sales agents worldwide.

In the end of August 2006 the management rights of AQUACONSULT Anlagenbau Ges.m.b.H. have been acquired by SANKI Engineering Co., Ltd..

AEROSTRIP - TYPE T - Diffusers

The AEROSTRIP diffuser has been designed as a fine bubble diffuser device with very low energy demand, wich may be safely employed for domestic and industrial sewage treatment worldwide. The materials used for AEROSTRIP diffusers are resistant against all components which are permitted to be fed to a sewage treatment plant in accordance to German ATV-regulations (ATV A115 Anlage 1).
