Trench Shoring Accessories

Pipe Pullers: Available for rental or sale, our pipe pullers feature a 12,000 lb. industrial winch that can be configured for pulls up to 43,000 lbs. The pipe puller sits inside the concrete pipe with the operator outside of the pipe using a wired remote switch. The pipe puller requires the use of a 12-volt, 8-D battery that is not included.

Dewatering

This diagram shows a typical dewatering system for lakeside construction. Using this system, a large volume of dirty, silty water can be pumped from inside a coffer dam and through the filtration process efficiently. The construction can then be completed inside the coffer dam while the clean effluent water is safely returned to the lake.

Groundwater Filtration

The diagram below shows a groundwater treatment system in which turbid,contaminated stormwater can be removed from a industrial jobsite before new construction begins. The clean effluent is then suitable for discharge to a municipal storm drain system or elsewhere.

Excavation

The diagram below shows a water treatment system in which contaminated groundwater at a construction site can be pumped away from the site and cleaned. Once the solid contaminants are filtered out, the clean effluent is then suitable for discharge to a municipal storm drain system or elsewhere.

Temporary Firewater Systems

The diagram below shows a temporary firewater system in which water can be stored and supplied during new construction projects in order to meet local fire authority requirements until a permanent municipal system is installed.

Sewer Bypass

The diagram below shows a typical sewer bypass situation where one or more priming-assisted pumps take suction (pulls a lift) out of one sewer manhole and pumps the sewage into another manhole down the street.

Chemical Cleaning

The diagram below shows a typical petrochemical wastewater treatment system. When storage tanks are taken out of service for cleaning, the washwater is pumped out of the tanks and passed through various filtration devices. Intermediate and final storage tanks are used to facilitate disposal of clean water in a slow, controlled manner to avoid receipt point overload.

Cooling Tower Cleaning

The diagram below shows a sludge removal system to clean the basin of a refinery cooling tower. This prevents fouling problems that can be caused when sludge in the basin is transferred to the cooling water lines and heat exchangers in the process unit.

HydroBlast Pad Water Recirculation

The diagram below shows a temporary water reclamation system that can be installed in an industrial plant hydroblast pad system, enabling continuous operation during maintenance and repairs to the permanent recycling system.

Dredging

The diagram below shows a water treatment system in which water is isolated from a larger body of water, such as a lake, river, or harbor to allow for dredging or construction in the work area. By cleaning the heavily silted water, the clean effluent can be safely returned to the source at a different location.

Contaminated Groundwater / Soil Treatment

The diagram below shows a typical groundwater treatment system in which contaminated runoff water and soil drainage can be removed and safely disposed of before new construction begins. Contaminated water is pumped out of the excavation site and processed through several stages of increasingly fine filtration. The clean effluent is then suitable for discharge to a municipal sewer system or elsewhere.
