Baumot AG is a global specialist in the area of exhaust after-treatment. Founded more than 20 years ago and having accumulated extensive experience in the areas of drive technology and diesel engine overhauls, Baumot has developed its core competency in application management of innovative exhaust after-treatment systems. Operating 13 distribution and service centers on three continents, Baumot is your partner when it comes to progressive, reliable and economical solutions to reduce exhaust emissions, both for first installations and retrofit solutions.

Baumot is globally positioned but nevertheless retains a regional focus. As a specialist for emission technology, the Baumot Group has its headquarters in Fehraltorf near Zurich. The head office is responsible for R&D, purchase, production, marketing and finances at group level.
The principal offices for America (USA, California) and Asia (China, Wuhan) take care of these tasks at the regional level.

In the individual countries, Baumot is typically represented with its own branch offices. The individual country locations are responsible for sales and marketing, technical advice, training, marketing support and technical service. This responsibility equally applies to marketing agents and end customers. In addition, certified contractual partners are used as marketing agents.

Every potential marketing agent who fulfills Baumot’s quality criteria can become an official Baumot partner following the relevant authorization procedure and thus benefit from the diesel particulate filter boom.

The Baumot Group currently consists of 13 branch offices in three continents and eleven countries. In addition, the group has a number of resellers in more than 20 nations.

We have been operating in the field of drive and emission technology covering everything from development and production to after-sales services for over 20 years.  

In the course of this time, we have been able to improve our quality management step by step, meaning that we now meet all the production requirements of the truck, bus, construction machinery and diesel engine industry.

• All suppliers must pass a cost-effectiveness test.
• All products are designed strictly on the basis of customer needs and the legal regulations
• The monthly report on the continuous improvement process is discussed regularly during meetings of the management.
• The work of all employees is constantly monitored and they receive regular training.
• In all activities, from development and purchase to production and after-sales services, every single Baumot branch establishment operates in accordance with the ISO 9001:2008 management system
