Description

Environmental awareness is far more than complying with environmental laws and regulations. Environmental responsibility makes today’s exciting visions turn into reality tomorrow. For decades, CTP has been developing innovative technologies in air pollution control. The ambitious aim: an emission close to zero combined with a maximum of economic efficiency of all processes.

A simple, yet extremely effective structure is the basis for CTP‘s innovative and effi cient technologies and systems. For more than 20 years, CTP engineers, chemists and researchers have been developing individual technologies to serve customers worldwide and across all industrial sectors. CTP’s ecological mission: to convert air pollutants in usable energy. All CTP systems develop around the honeycomb structure, in the form of heat exchangers, adsorbers or catalysts. With CTP’s own production facility, perfect geometry and fi rst class quality are guaranteed, while the honeycombs themselves ensure maximum destruction effi ciency and minimal operating costs. More than 15 patents prove that technical advantage is the future.

CTP systems remove contaminants in well-regulated processes according to either “hot” chemical or “cold” physical principles. All of the contaminants’ molecules are caught in CTP’s systems.

Large flows with small concentrations or small flows with high concentrations – CTP offers an efficient air pollution control with suitable, environmentally friendly solutions for either problem.
The ambitious target: tailored CTP technology reduces running costs with the final aim of achieving autothermal operation (no external energy input).

Cost-Saving Process Optimisation Made By CTP

  • Very high contaminant concentration and small flow (Injection)
Almost completely saturated with contaminants, the process flow – liquid and gaseous – is distributed in the oxidation chamber by means of CTP‘s highly efficient injection system and is then removed economically and completely by using its own enthalpy.
  • Contaminant concentration in nearly all sizes and for all flows (RTO)
The so-called CTP Autotherm System utilises very efficient ceramic honeycomb heat exchangers.
The system removes the contaminants directly from the production line. Most of the energy it needs is gained from the emission-laden air and whenever there is a surplus of energy it can be fed back to the production process by means of recovery. The concept behind the system is highly flexible and cost-efficient.
  • Selected waste gas flows with a low amount of or even no oxygen (Catalytic Oxidation)
Tailor-made catalysts can even tackle waste gas problems with very low oxygen concentrations.
Recuperative and regenerative technologies enable process optimisation and cost-efficient disposal.
  • Low contaminant concentration in large flows (Adsorption)
Adsorption with specific zeolite materials tailored to the respective contaminant – either in the fixed bed or in the rotary concentrator – purifies waste gas at ambient temperature at the lowest cost of
    ownership.

A Safe Solution

CTP ‘s worldwide sales force is set up by strategic alliances in more than 25 countries, licensees in the United States and Japan, as well as subsidiaries and sister companies in Germany, Sweden, Korea and Spain. CTP is at their customers’s,service on fi,ve continents, offering one-stop solutions including planning, erection, start-up, as well as maintenance and technical support.
The widely spread service network maintains a very high quality standard based on certifi,ed know-how. Customers all over the world benefi,t from CTP‘s quality customer support infrastructure realised through online distance maintenance and in situ service.

All over the world and across all industrial sectors customers have trusted in CTP‘s innovative and ecological solutions for more than 20 years. CTP provides solutions for nearly all industries: from chemical to electronic sectors, from metal to glass industry, from automobile to textile branches. No matter if leather, plastic, wood or food is produced and processed – CTP technology has proven itself in hundreds of applications. The way to success: ambitious concepts showing that pollutants can be converted to usable energy and visions can become reality.

Emissions know no international boundaries.
CTP’s successful way towards removing emissions is supported by long-term experience, applied know-how and the courage to maintain one’s idealism. CTP‘s design and process engineers, software specialists, service technicians and chemists regard every innovation as a basis for new visions and developments. Because it is where knowledge ends that research and progress will have to start.

Applications

No industrial process is like another. Flow rates, temperature, pressure, pollutant composition and concentration are often inconsistent. Unexpected working conditions challenge the function and security of an air pollution control system.

CTP's expertise and experience with a wide range of industrial processes make us the best partner for finding individual, integrated, solutions in air pollution control.

FEATURED PRODUCTS

Smoothing Bed

CTP Smoothing Bed was especially designed for waste gases with short-time concentration peaks. The system adsorbs the spontaneously emitted materials and releases the pollutants during low concentrated waste gas phases. The smoothing of the concentration peaks makes it possible to optimize the adjacent air purification system and to operate it efficiently.

VOXsorbTherm - Fixed Bed Adsorption

The VOXsorbTherm system has been developed especially for very lowly contaminated (VOC concentration

FEATURED APPLICATIONS

Several waste gas streams: Highly contaminated oxygen-free waste gas,|and medium waste gas stream

Explosive oxygen-free waste gases are disposed of and contribute to the oxidation process of the contaminants.

Particles and alkaline compounds

The malodorous gas given off, loaded with solid and particulate matter, requires a robust installation that guarantees a 24/7 operation. The contamination of the gas given off with alkaline metals was a challenge that led to the development of a special ceramic heat exchanger material.

FEATURED SERVICES

After Sales – Service

CTP offers the following after sales services: Maintenance, To ensure a secure and continuous operation of the system we offer maintenance agreements for 1 to 5 years.

Project Management – Service

Project management as envisaged by CTP means the handling of a job from planning through to commissioning the system.
