Containment Solutions pioneered a technology in 1965 to manufacture the first fiberglass petroleum storage tank. Originally our tanks were designed for the safe storage of petroleum and other combustible materials. In fact, our design work resulted in the UL 1316 standard which governs fiberglass tank manufacturing for petroleum tanks.
More than 40 years and 300,000 tank installations later, we continue to improve upon those processes utilizing today’s automation to develop new applications and products. Containment Solutions was built on the success of fiberglass petroleum storage tanks. However, we have expanded our product line to include the handling of lubrication oils, water, wastewater and alternative biofuels such as ethanol and biodiesel.
Fluid storage today is more challenging and necessary than at any other time in history. Whatever your needs may be, our staff will work with you to determine the best possible solution.
Containment Solutions Inc. (CSI), has committed its resources to assembling a family of companies that manufacture and sell storage and handling products engineered for use with hazardous and nonhazardous, flammable and combustible liquids.
Our approach is simple. By working together to determine specific needs and objectives, we can determine the storage solutions that are best suited to your individual needs. From one storage tank to multiple tanks, CSI can design and manufacture tanks for your entire operation.
We are the industry standard:
One of the key strengths provided by CSI is industry leadership. All Containment Solutions products meet or exceed regulatory standards. We are the technology leaders in the above and belowground tank industry. We invented and/or hold many of the patents on products we offer. Many of our products have become the industry standards.
Aboveground, Belowground, Steel or Fiberglass.
CSI will analyze your needs, supply the best equipment and systems available, ensure maximum efficiency and performance and maintain the highest standards.
Providing support nationally and beyond:
CSI maintains the only national and international field service organization in the tank manufacturing industry. Our field service group provides support through four regional operations with projects across the US and Canada.
CSI offers the greatest number of innovative products for the storage and handling of hazardous and non hazardous, flammable and combustible liquids. CSI has one of the largest national networks of regionally located manufacturing facilities in the industry. We manufacture specialty and standard-design products on time and to the highest quality standards. All CSI facilities manufacture products under the appropriate Underwriters Laboratories approval labels.

Double-Wall Tanks For Petroleum Storage
CSI’s advanced double-wall technology gives storage tank owners, municipalities, counties and states proven protection against petroleum contamination of underground water supplies. In addition to our UL listing, our tanks comply with the American Petroleum Institute’s recommendation for secondary containment systems wherever underground tanks are located within 300 feet of underground water supplies. As liabilities associated with leaking ...
Electronics For CSI Oil/Water Separator Monitoring And Control Systems
Electronics for CSI Oil/Water Separator monitoring and control systems can be configured to satisfy a wide range of customer requirements. Control panels, sensors, probes and gauges are available for all double-wall, single-wall oil/water separator systems as well as for single-tank or multiple-tank installations.
Repairs & Modifications
Typical Services: Modifications of existing tanks. Installation of collars and tank sumps on existing tanks. Repair of tank damage. Repair and replacement of fittings.
Tank recertification is a cost effective and environmentally conscious alternative to the purchase of a new double-wall tank in certain applications. If a tank is removed from an installation, moved to owner’s new location and is intended for active service at the new location, the tank must be recertified by CSI in order to maintain the existing warranty as originally extended.
CSI provides Contractor Training Materials for contractors who need training to properly install a fiberglass storage tank. The information includes Tank Installation Instructions, an Installation Training Presentation (PowerPoint 97-2007), and an installer installation exam. This training kit is built to be a comprehensive program for first-time installers and a refresher course for experienced companies as well.
