Cornelsen Umwelttechnologie GmbH was founded in 2001 by Martin Cornelsen, Engineer, as a Management Buy Out (MBO) of the former corporate partial operating plant “Niederlassung Umwelttechnik Essen“ (Subsidiary Environmental Technique Essen) within the Preussag Wasser & Rohrtechnik – Gruppe (Water & Pipe Technique Group), of which Martin was the longtime former Manager. Since that time, the Company has continually developed as a wholly owned indepentant.
In taking over the existing, highly successful operating unit from Essen, along with all the employees and business facilities, Cornelsen Umwelttechnologie GmbH has been able to continue to provide these high standards to it’s existing customers and to the environmental engineering market as a whole.
Cornelsen Ltd., based in Cleeve, Bristol (UK) was established as a subsidiary in 2003 and since that time has grown continually year on year, thus contributing to the considerable growth in the supply of modular (mobile) treatment plants for the Cornelsen Group.
