The range includes weather stations (to correlate weather data with pollutant dispersal patterns), specialist solar radiation sensors (to assess solar energy system efficiency and site potential) and soil moisture sensors (to monitor landfill sites, water run-off, pesticide fate and leachate movement). Delta-T introduced the SPN1 Sunshine Pyranometer, the world's first solar radiation sensor able to simultaneously measure total and diffuse radiation plus sunshine duration.
The Delta-T soil moisture sensor range includes the new ML3 ThetaProbe and SM300 Probe for volumetric water content, Profile Probes for vertical profiles of soil moisture and the Equitensiometer for soil water potential. All are loggable, low power, buriable and maintenance-free. An innovative pore water conductivity probe, the WET Sensor provides an instantaneous method of sampling the build up of dissolved salts and pollutants within the pores of the soil.
The choice of field data loggers includes the compact, affordable GP1 data logger, the 6-channel DL6 soil moisture logger, the DL2e which can log up to 60 sensors and the very powerful new GP2 Data Logger and Controller. A wide range of sensors can be combined with these data loggers to form versatile logging systems and weather stations.
Delta-T has customers all over the world, supplied via an extensive distributor network.
