As President of Crosier’s Sanitary Service, Ron Crosier has over 30 years’ experience in the waste management industry. Frustrated by the high cost and exorbitant labor involved with existing technology, Ron established Downey Ridge Environmental Company in 2010 to find an efficient way to capture the valuable biofuel trapped in grease trap waste, while reducing the labor, hauling, and disposal costs associated with grease trap waste management.
Ron combined his background in engineering with Jim Hendrixson’s many years of experience in manufacturing and heating systems, and after 3 years of research and development, the pair had invented the Greasezilla© Brown Grease Separator, and has been using the Greasezilla© prototype they created ever since.
The company enjoys significant revenue from the sale of the biofuel they harvest from the grease trap waste, and the dramatic reduction of disposal costs upon removal of the fat content in grease trap waste has dramatically improved the company’s bottom line. Once the fat is rendered into fuel, what’s left is an effluent that is cheaper and easier to dispose of, making Greasezilla© a highly profitable addition to Downey Ridge Environmentnal Company’s grease trap waste management system, and we’re confident it will be for you as well.
