Partnering for a cleaner tomorrow - Worldwide
With corporate headquarters housed in our massive 180,000 square ft. manufacturing and assembly facility in Ocala, Florida, ESD has the expertise and infrastructure to produce equipment for all your remediation applications.
Massive Assembly Area
The massive assembly area can accommodate final assembly of large water treatment components and systems, trailer packages and remediation buildings. The testing area and our quality control department ensure items leaving the factory are fully-tested and meet rigid specifications.
Employing only top skilled welders and machinist who work in their individual stations and welding-bays to hand-weld custom metal subassemblies.
In the battle to reduce costs, we are constantly on the lookout for an edge. The waterjet process provides many unique capabilities and advantages that can prove very effective in the cost battle. Beyond cost cutting, the waterjet process is recognized as the most versatile and fastest growing process in the world.
Waterjets are used in high production applications across the globe. They compliment other technologies such as milling, laser, EDM, plasma and routers. No noxious gases or liquids are used in waterjet cutting, and waterjets do not create hazardous materials or vapors. No heat effected zones or mechanical stresses are left on a waterjet cut surface. It is truly a versatile, productive, cold cutting process.
The waterjet has shown that it can do things that other technologies simply cannot. From cutting whisper thin details in stone, glass and metals; to rapid hole drilling of titanium; to cutting of food. The waterjet has proven itself unique. The key to cutting metal with water is to keep the spray coherent. Waterjets are able to cut because the spray is channeled through a very narrow jeweled nozzle at a very high pressure to keep the spray coherent. Unlike metal cutters, a waterjet never gets dull and it cannot overheat.
Waterjets can cut:
A water jet can cut a 'sandwich' of different materials up to four inches thick. This odorless, dust-free and relatively heat-free process can also cut something as thin as five thousandths of an inch. The tiny jet stream permits the first cut to also be the final finished surface. This single cutting process saves material costs, machining costs and deburring time.
