Geotech is the market leading manufacturer and supplier for biogas and landfill gas portable analysers. Our analysers are used worldwide and are rapidly becoming even more important with the growing global focus on energy from waste (EfW).

For continuous and fixed gas analysis, Geotech’s AEMS equipment can be installed by our field engineers in the UK and around the world. Fully automated, AEMS controls and protects CHP engines, verifies CDM, aids PPC compliance, helps optimise CH4 output and quality in EfW.

Central to Geotech analysers is “Geotech-design”. Our in house design capability has resulted in continuous development of gas monitoring products. Our new G100 analysers are used in laboratories for CO2 incubators, to verify IVF and similar environments, in food production, marine and indoor air quality (IAQ) and for life-critical applications.

Supporting our excellent reputation in landfill gas analysis, Geotech also offers ATEX certified leachate and condensate pumps. This highly dependable range of top quality pneumatic submersible pumps has been in use throughout UK landfills and around the world for nearly twenty years. Additional liquid-level monitoring and groundwater sampling instruments illustrate the extent of the Geotech product range.

Geotech products are supported with its fast calibration and service turnaround and all necessary consumables, spares, technical help and training as required.

LANDTEC, the leading provider of technology and software to the Landfill Gas Industry merged with Geotechnical Instruments in October 2006. LANDTEC is headquartered in Colton, California and maintains operations in the UK under the name Geotechnical Instruments.

LANDTEC originally partnered Geotechnical Instruments in 1991 to sell gas analysers and develop the GEM-500 instrument. The GEM rapidly became the standard for monitoring gas quality and flow in the Landfill Gas Industry throughout North America. Since that time, the two companies jointly engineered other technology including the GEM- 500's successor, the GEM 2000 and the stationary Field Analytical Unit (FAU).
