Greyline is a worldwide leader in ultrasonic instrumentation for industrial and environmental markets. We develop, manufacture and market industrial flow and level monitoring instruments including ultrasonic level transmitters, flow meters and open channel flow meters. Greyline’s primary market is environmental - especially water and wastewater treatment systems. Customers include industry and municipalities. Modern research facilities at Greyline include closed pipe and open channel flow systems. With years of steady growth, Greyline products are sold and supported worldwide.

About Us

We develop and manufacture industrial flow and level monitoring instruments for measurement and control in water and wastewater treatment, industrial process automation and for environmental monitoring.

Greyline level instruments include ultrasonic level monitors and transmitters, tank level monitoring instruments, pump station level controllers, software and data loggers.

Greyline's ultrasonic flow products include portable meters for troubleshooting and surveys, Doppler flow meters with strap-on sensors, flow switches, open channel flow monitors and area-velocity flow meters.

FEATURED PRODUCTS

Greyline - DFS-II - Doppler Flow Switch

Control Flow from outside a pipe. Recommended for 'difficult liquids' including wastewater, slurries, sludge, chemicals, viscous liquids and abrasives. The Greyline DFS-II is ideal for pump protection or to activate flow/no-flow alarms.

Greyline - DLT 2.0 - Differential Level Transmitter

Reduce costs and simplify instrumentation at treatment plant headworks. The DLT 2.0 can measure both differential level plus flow through a flume. Install one Sensor on each side of a mechanical barscreen to continuously monitor, transmit and control level. Use the built-in control relays or 4-20mA outputs to automatically activate the barscreen rake at preset levels.

FEATURED APPLICATIONS

Water accountability portable monitoring for solving flow rate mystery

The Glen Walter Sewage Collection System was built to service 1080 customers in 1989. At the time the population was 850 but by 1995 the sewage treatment plant had already reached capacity. Shawn Killoran took over the Operations Manger position in 1999 and, along with the Mayor and Council, he immediately had concerns about the excess flow.

Area-velocity flowmeter for measuring sewage and stormwater flow

Greyline AVFM Area-Velocity Flow Meters are installed thoughout the country by Teletronic Denmark to monitor municipal sewage and stormwater. Application photos and descriptions illustrate flow monitoring in manholes and open channels.
