Our main clients locally are private persons, small and medium sized businesses, cities and communities.
On the international playing field we work for industry, oil companies, real estate companies, mining companies, insurance companies, and electric power companies.
INTERGEO is currently working on hundreds of projects around the world. To date we have finished over 10.000 contaminated site and environmental projects and successfully completed over 2.000 soil and groundwater remediations.
History

Our history:
INTERGEO was founded in Salzburg in 1983 by civil engineers Dr. Heinrich Wallner and Dr. Peter Müller. The original activities and key competencies were services in the fields of geology and geotechnics.
Today, with top qualified specialists, INTERGEO offers a wide range and continuously growing portfolio of services in the areas of soil and groundwater remediation, geotechnics, waste management and environmental consulting. In all of these fields, INTERGEO’s operations are both interdisciplinary and intercontinental.
Our focus is on Middle and Eastern Europe and our Headquarters is in Salzburg. INTERGEO is active on an interdisciplinary and intercontinental basis and the company network allows for a world-wide exchange of experience, temporary competence-teams being quickly formed when needed.
Our employee base consists of over 400 engineers, environmental technicians, geologists, geotechnicians, hydrogeologists, mining engineers, mechanical engineers, chemists, biologists, physicists and specialists for drilling and geophysics. The majority of our employees have been with us for a number of years.
Due to the fact that specialists in a great variety of technical disciplines work together in these teams, even complex tasks are doable for us in the shortest possible time and completely in line with our policy of “one stop service”.

Soil ExcavationSoil excavation is the removal of soil and the appropriate and law-abiding disposal/recycling of the excavated material. When time is a factor or in situations where the contamination is contained, the excavation of contaminated property, accompanying analysis and the proper disposal of the excavated material can speed up the remediation without delaying the construction progress. |

Air EmissionsBusinesses that generate, use or release highly volatile organic solvents (VOC) are required to submit an annual emission balance sheets. The balance sheet compares the solvents used and disposed of with the ventilated solvents to ensure that limiting emission values are kept to.
