Today, HWM incorporates the successful product ranges of Palmer Environmental, Radcom Technologies and Radio-Tech to produce some of the world's most advanced, accurate and easy to use wireless monitoring and measuring equipment. 

Our manufacturing facilities and head office are based in the UK, and we also have offices in the USA (where we are known as Fluid Conservation Systems) and in China.

Many of our products are well known within the utilities sector and have been proven to deliver an excellent return on investment.  For example, our award winning Permalog noise logging system is a popular choice among leak detection operatives within the water industry, with many hundreds of thousands deployed on pipes listening for leaks around the world. Their use in El Paso, Texas was recently credited with saving the city 6 million gallons of water per day. Similarly, our Economise system has helped to establish us as the technology partner of choice for many energy management service providers. The system enables users to wirelessly and remotely monitor the consumption of water, gas and electricity meters.

We currently have an international distribution network of over 50 authorised distributors that cover all continents.  Our distributors are trained to provide our international customers with the same high standards of service and support that we offer in the UK. Committed to Innovation

HWM has a proven commitment to innovation. We produce some of the world's most advanced, accurate and easy to use water and energy management equipment, and invest heavily in our Research and Development departments to ensure that our customers continue to receive the best available technology and the finest quality design at the lowest possible cost.

For example, we have pioneered leak detection technology by developing the world’s first portable correlator and the first automatic leak localiser. Today, our latest correlator features touch screen technology to improve data entry and ease of use.  Our Radcom data loggers incorporate low power electronics to maintain battery life and are equipped with the latest integral GPRS technology to enable data to be sent more frequently for monitoring and response to time critical events.  

Radio-Tech’s RF based wireless monitoring products are designed for multiple applications, including the provision of energy consumption data, AMR applications, building performance observation and remote water storage monitoring  to assist in preventing legionella outbreaks. We have also developed systems on an exclusive 153MHz frequency, which allows us to offer our customers a typical operating range of circa 2km point-to-point.

HWM operates to internationally recognised Quality Management Systems This provides a framework for controlling the impacts of our activities, products and services on the environment.  

We have a documented Quality Management System and are ISO 9001 registered. We also have a documented Environmental Management System and are ISO 14001 Registered.    These provide a framework for controlling the impacts of our activities, products and services on the environment, and enable us to continually improve our performance in this important area.

Our equipment is warranted by HWM to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, and we provide a dedicated Technical Support Helpline, extended warranty options and a commitment to support the repair and maintenance of products for a minimum of ten years from the purchase date of the equipment.
