About Us
In 1932, M-U-T was founded, located about 30 km from Vienna. In those days, the company put its focus on the construction of conveying systems. Back then, manufacturing was outsourced before M-U-T began to operate its own production. The total area of the company now comprises 32.500m², of which 13.000m² are constituted by sheds. Conveying technology remains one of the main pillars of M-U-T.
In 1955, the first refuse collecting truck left the factory. Today, M-U-T offers a wide product range in the area of municipial vehicles and shines forth on the international market due to its extensive know-how acquired over many years. M-U-T is proud to be the market leader in the area of vehicle construction in Austria and Hungary.
In 1972, M-U-T recognized the growing importance of environmental protection and founded its business line environmental technology. Today, state-of-the-art fermentation plants for biological waste as well as sorting systems are part of the offer.
In 1988, the establishment of the sector waste water engineering rounded off the M-U-T product range. Various components for large-scale plants are developed, constructed and produced in a tailor-made way.
