About Us
Our team of engineers and technicians takes care of the development and production of environmental instrumentation.
UMS is located in Munich, not far from leading universities and research centres in Southern Germany and Austria. With some of them, UMS has not only longtime relations but close cooperations.

It is our aim to find the right product and solution in accordance with your application - for the best possible return of time and funds.
Our workshops and trainings impart knowledge on products and handling and are a platform to share ideas and experiences.
Production
Tensiometers, pore water samplers and other products are manufactured in our own well-equipped workshop. This assures a constant quality and a certain flexibility on individual designs.
Development and Cooperations
According to your requirements and intentions we design customized sensors, user interfaces and network solutions. In close cooperation with our research partners innovative components are developed and turned into new products.

With an active surface of only 0,5 cm2 and a diameter of 5 mm the ceramic tip has all advantages of small dimensions: little soil disturbance, punctual pick-up and fast response. Maintenance & CalibrationSystems must operate continuously and reliable, but any instrumentation can only work as good as it is maintained. Many failures can be avoided by correct maintenance. In dependence of the required accuracy sensors and loggers need to be checked and calibrated regularly. Please contact us or your local dealer for our calibration service. |
