Logisticon Water Treatment and Rental
Logisticon Water Treatment designs and constructs complete water treatment installations for the preparation of drinking and process water, and for the treatment of communal and industrial waste water. We have our own factory for this purpose. We also carry out activities in the field of environmental technology, such as groundwater treatment and remediation. Well-known technologies used by Logisticon include sand and activated carbon filtration, Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF), lamella separators, Membrane Bioreactors (MBR), Ultra filtration (UF), Nanofiltration (NF) and, of course, Reverse Osmosis (RO).
If you would like to know more about the various types of water treatment technologies and related efficiencies before making expensive investments, we recommend that you rent a pilot installation initially. This will enable you to satisfy yourself that you are making the right decision as regards the action of the recommended methods of treatment, and the results. In some cases, a ‘pilot installation’ is, in fact, a full-scale treatment plant.
We will be pleased to advise you on the options.
Logisticon Verhuur is the largest rental company in Europe when it comes to equipment for water treatment and purification. The equipment Logisticon Verhuur rents out all over Europe consists of sand filters, activated carbon filters, stripping towers, pumps, buffer tanks, lamella separators, DAF units, aerators, biorotors (rotating biological contactors), ion exchangers, MBRs and membrane systems. Many of these installations are used to deferrise or remediate polluted groundwater, but some are utilised as temporary solutions for waste water treatment and the preparation of process water.
Installations can also be rented from us for research and pilot installations.
The water market comprises more than just technology. The project approach is also beneficial from the financial point of view. A scan will give you an insight into the various alternatives.
Logisticon’s expertise guarantees a realistic, practical solution. Our integrated approach makes the decision-making process transparent.
You will be doing business with an experienced specialist who can find the right balance and optimise costs.
The monitoring of preconditions such as costs, planning and quality go without saying in our ‘project-based methodology’.
Quality, safety and environment
Logisticon constantly strives for a high quality and is always improving the safety. This is maintained in our Quality system ISO9001:2008 and Safety System called VCA** or SCC**2008/05. Both are regularly updated and checked by Bureau Veritas. Upon request we can send you a copies of these certificates. Next to quality and safety we are always improving the environmental circumstances of our business. The goal is to minimize energy consumption, lower CO2 emissions, decrease waste discharges and minimize the usage of chemicals and other materials and look for waste water re-use options. Logisticon Water Treatment invests a substantial part in Research and Development (R&D) in the search for new technologies and in testing/ implementing these technologies to improve the environment. Logisticon was founded in 1988 as a supplier of groundwater treatment equipment. In the succeeding years, Logisticon has evolved more and more into an all-round water treatment company. Besides applying its expertise to groundwater treatment, Logisticon has realised numerous projects in the preparation of process water (including demineralised and ultra-pure water), the preparation of process water from surface water and waste water treatment (including a biorotor and a Membrane Bioreactor, MBR).
Our activities concern:
In addition to constructing client-specific installations, Logisticon is Europe’s biggest rental company in temporary water treatment installations.
The removal efficiency of plate aerators is almost as high as stripping towers (aeration/degasification) and they have a considerable advantage over the latter in that they are compact and can be disassembled and cleaned easily. This is very important if the water contains contaminants such as iron and calcium which, as a result of oxidation, form deposits in the installation (which build up and block the plates).
Air Filters Biological / Active Carbon
Active carbon air filters are manufactured from steel and have air inlet and discharge channels. When used to treat 'wet' air, the unit is supplied with a heater to keep the carbon dry. When properly dimensioned, the yield of the air filter can exceed 99%. And we can take care of this dimensioning for you.
