Nouveau Energy Management Services (NEMS) has been formed to initiate business mainly for CDM Project Development in Pakistan ranging from CER verification and transaction management services. NEMS would provide full range of consultancy and advice on the development of emission reduction projects basing on strategic advisory, CDM Services and CDM software thereby expanding its business realms to develop the first Climate Change Information System for public sector in order to provide a baseline working scenario for the historic and present data for provision and calculation of reliable forecast for future GHG Emission Reduction needs.

Nems CFCC Division (Carbon Finance & Climate Change Counsulatncy Division)

NEMS CFCC DIVISION has been established under the umbrella of GREENPAK for venturing in to the Carbon Finance business and to develop a Climate Change Information System for Pakistan with technical support of international and national consultants in order to provide a reliable forecast for future GHG Emission Reduction needs for provision of a trading platform in the form of PCX (Pakistan Climate Exchange).

NEMS CFCC UNIT has been established for venturing in to the Carbon Finance business and to develop a Climate Change Information System for Pakistan with technical support of international and national consultants in order to provide a reliable forecast for future GHG Emission Reduction needs.

CDM Services At Nems CFCC Unit

CDM Services being the main focus area of NEMS would be providing specified and quality services by catering the following skill set:

• Evaluation of CDM eligibility, technical & risk and uncertainties analysis also considering issues raised by CDM Executive Board on such project.
• Preparation of PDD Document involving development of baseline methodology, additionality analysis and assessment of environmental impact of the project.
• Development of monitoring/accounting plan involving data collection, calculation methods and staff training.
• Arrangement of technical verification and monitoring of emissions through third party approved under CDM.
• Arrangement for project validation, registration and approval from all relevant parties, local and international.
• Incorporate & address issues raised by the involved parties on the project and update PDD and obtain approval.
• Coordination with all parties to ensure smooth progress for the project.
• Arrangement for verification and certification of CERs.
• Assistance to obtain price competitive CER and execution of CERs contract
• Onsite training for handling CDM projects
