The first pinta pyramid was developed and manufactured in the early 1960s in Leverkusen, Germany. Since that time, pinta has acquired extensive experience with acoustic products and noise protection systems. These range from acoustic ceiling elements made of metal and solutions for industrial sound insulation to sylish office systems. As a result, pinta has evolved into one of the market leaders in the field of acoustics. In September 2005, pinta Akustiksysteme GmbH became part of one of the operating business units of the holding company pinta elements GmbH in Munich. The holding company was established by Michael Illbruck in 2004 and represents an important and indispensable new beginnning for his entrepreneurial activities. pinta Akustiksysteme GmbH was renamed and is now operated under the new name “pinta acoustic GmbH.
