Purolator Liquid Process

Purolator's unique, multi-zone melt blown cartridges. PuroZone technology allows the creation of multiple zones within the depth of the filter cartridge. Each zone contains a matrix of declining diameter fibers. This multi-zone design produces a gradient pore structure, which thoroughly captures larger particles in the upstream layers of the filter while efficiently capturing smaller particles in the inner layers. Purolator has optimized each PUROCEPT filter grade to provide high efficiency filtration and mechanical strength.

Innovative, Patented New Product!!
In March of 2009, Purolator Liquid Process officially released the Depth-Clear D Series filter cartridge and accessory housing. This pairing completely encloses the lenticular filter cartridge greatly reducing the hold-up volume and virtually eliminating the cleanup associated with cartridge change outs. Each cartridge is enclosed within two layers of protective film isolating the cartridge from the housing with an impermeable barrier. The cartridge compression is preset insuring proper cartridge sealing and the reduced fitting requirements add to the ease of change-outs. This containment system is available in 0.15 – 20 µm and carbon Depth-Clear grades. The Depth-Clear D Series housing requires little maintenance due to the absence of o-rings and gaskets and is available in stainless steel and other alloys that can withstand pressures up to 75 psi.
