Business In Brief

Image

Founded in 1972, SAP is the world leader in enterprise applications in terms of software and software-related service revenue. The SAP Group includes subsidiaries in every major country and employs more than 55,000 people. Newly acquired Sybase operates as an independent business unit.

SAP markets and distributes its products and services primarily through a worldwide network of local subsidiaries, which are licensed to distribute SAP products to customers in defined territories.
