Using improperly chosen, low quality or unavailable equipment in a treatment plant cause increase the life time costs of the plant. In addition it affects the efficiency of the plant, may increase power consumption, extends the starting period and even causes the plant to be shut-down. SISMAT, particularly specialized in manufacturing equipment used in water and wastewater treatment plants, is the first company to have practiced wastewater treatment technologies as an industry with its manufacturing and environmental engineers who are experts in functions of equipment and proved their experience and know-how with wastewater equipment plants working at their best performance at various locations in Turkey and worldwide.

All equipment manufactured by SISMAT has the Turkish Standards Institute Quality Certificate. Furthermore, SISMAT is the first to get TSE for prefabricated, ready to commission Package Treatment Units; thus, making it an obligation that every treatment equipment should have TSE certificate. In addition SISMAT is the first Turkish company to have ISO9001Quality Certificate for design, manufacturing and application of water and wastewater treatment plant equipment, package wastewater treatment units and dewatering equipment by the auditing on 2/06/1999 by a German originated international auditing company – RW TUW (Rheinisch Westfalischer TÜV).

Together with the wastewater treatment machines that are mostly manufactured and developed by our own engineering experience, surface aerators (GYROX) and special purpose mixers (RAPIMIX and RAPIFLOC) with LURGI license, beltfilterpresses and sludge conditioning units with KLEIN ex-license are produced.

Minimum machine down-times and worldwide, quick After-Sales service is essential for either contractors as well as end users. For all plants, either smaller or bigger, guarantee periods are determined by agreements or by tender documents. After this limited period, maintenance obligation of the contractors is over. But for non-stop working machines expert care and quick available wear parts are important. IN this point of view SISMAT After-Sales department supplying spare parts for all the equipment from our production range at any time with maintenance and repair service guarantee even years after delivery is a considerable advantage.

Our workforce is the real source of our strength as a company. The major departments in the organisation structure can be listed as Project and Sales Support; Sales and Marketing; Production and After-Sale Services Departments. The personnel in these departments consist fully of mechanical and environmental engineers.

Most members of our team, of which we are glad of being a part, have been with the company for long time and have accumulated years’ of experience, which helps us deliver the most efficient solutions to satisfy our clients.

Our production plant covers a total area of 7,000 m2, entirely covered with concrete to allow match production and warehouse requirements, except covered and recreation areas.

The covered production area with a total surface area of 3000 m2, consists of two halls with 17x8 m width and height, and 100 and 60 m length, respectively. The building can be entered through four entrances suitable for the entrance of all types of heavy vehicles including TIRs for loading and unloading. In the building, there are three travelling bridge cranes; two of 10 tons and one of 5 tons capacity.

The four-storey office building with a total area of 750 m2 is directly connected to the production area.

In order to benefit from the time saving and quality advantages that new technologies can provide, all machines and tools in the production area are maintained and renewed to keep up with the state-of-the-art. All design and project work is performed in electronic media and drawings of parts are directly transferred to PLC controlled cutting bench.

Our sensitivity on the subject of quality production dates well before our hitting the global market; it goes back to the years where there were no standardisation whatsoever in this sector in our country. SİSMAT, which has been a pioneer in treatment equipments as well as Package Wastewater Treatment Systems, applied in 1987 for the first ever TSE (Turkish Institute of Standards) quality certificate in this area, thus paving the way for TSE certificate becoming a requirement for treatment equipment. All our products possess TSEK or TSE Production Qualification Certificate ever since.

We are the first Turkish company in the sector to have obtained ISO 9001 certificate as a result of our continuous endeavours on the way to achieving worldwide standards.

The new quality system we have enforced entails the design, production, and application of water and wastewater treatment equipment, package wastewater treatment systems, and sludge dewatering equipment.

With the beginning of the year 2009, we also standardized our respect to environment and safety of our working areas by integrating our Quality System with Environment (ISO 14001) and Health / Safety (OHSAS 18001) Management Systems.
