Turner Designs Hydrocarbon Instruments is unparalleled in fluorescence (UVF) expertise for the measurement of hydrocarbons in water and soil. We have more UVF instruments in service for oil in water measurement than all UVF competition combined.

We are experts in oil (hydrocarbon) in water monitors for concentrations ranging from ug/L (ppb) to mg/L (ppm). Detection limits for crude oil, gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel and fuel oils have been demonstrated at 10 ppb in distilled water. As an example, a large number of our installed systems routinely monitor drinking water for gasoline and diesel fuel at 30 ppb in river water. We routinely customize our systems to meet highly specialized monitoring projects especially in the offshore oil production market.

We maintain an in-house laboratory that is specifically utilized for application confirmation and method development. We utilize in-house instrumentation and expertise to validate instrument performance for customer applications prior to manufacturing and delivering systems worldwide. Essentially, all customer applications are validated prior to instrument shipment to qualify the effectiveness of our products to meet customer needs. This speeds installation start-up and reinforces successful customer operation of our instruments.

We employ highly skilled field support personnel with field service available in all areas of the world. A worldwide support network allows customers to receive regional support for service and applications needs. Service personnel are deployed from regional support centers based in North America, Asia, Europe, West Africa and the Middle East.
