Tyre recycling
Van Aarsen develops and produces machines and total solutions specially for this industry in the recycling of tyres into granulates. Thanks to Van Aarsen’s expertise, marketable rubber granulates and rubber powder can be produced in three steps; shredding, grinding and granulating. Striking aspects are the excellent price-quality ratio, a high level of business certainty and low operational costs.

Wood processing
Such a specific product like wood requires an innovative approach. Van Aarsen’s machines have been specially developed for processing wood chips, shavings and sawdust, transforming them into wood pellets in a process of drying, grinding and pelleting. This pellet production is perfectly tailored to the end use: the generation of sustainable energy in a CO2-neutral manner.

Bio Fuel
Van Aarsen operates in many segments of the processing industry, namely animal feed, pet food, aqua feed, wood processing, bio fuels and tyre recycling. Using the very latest technologies, Van Aarsen produces the complete range of machines needed for process technology from A to Z. Our process engineers design creative, customer-driven solutions ensuring that our clients always have the advantage within the market.

We also have all the necessary expertise for the corresponding process automation and software. The systems are made-to-measure for effective process management. Van Aarsen’s service covers the fields of engineering, supervision and training of local operators, wherever in the world they may be, for both new construction work and renovations. Furthermore, we provide an excellent after-sales service. Online management, efficient maintenance carried out in various phased options, parts depots in various locations around the world, and supplied spare-parts all mean that production can be guaranteed. Process optimisation, creativity and a high level of empathy also contribute to achieving the highest feasible process efficiency and the lowest possible production costs per tonne. Advice on planning and the execution of a feasibility study is also an option.

Van Aarsen produces in-house all main machinery and many secundairy machines for Animal Feed, Pet Food, Aqua Feed, Wood Processing as well as Tyre Recycling.

Van Aarsen equipment has been designed and constructed to lift production and lower costs, with minimum harm to the environment and maximum benefit to food safety. The equipment fulfils to standards like CE, ATEX, GMP and HACCP.

At our head quarters in Panheel, The Netherlands, we have our own testing facility for product development, process development and test production for customer products.

Van Aarsen supports its customers by offering them consulting, engineering know-how, experience in global project management and after sales service in which we will continue to take care of our products throughout their life cycles, offering local service, spare parts, or machine upgrades. Through Van Aarsen’s wide-spread international network you can call for all kinds of assistance at all times.

We continually receive important feedback thanks to years of intensive contact with process specialists from all over the world. The setting up of a profitable process configuration requires a combination of know-how in engineering and a great deal of expertise in every phase of the process. In 2010 the technicians at Van Aarsen worked on a lot of small and big innovations on existing machines. Changes for more flexibility, more efficiency, less energy consumption, easier production methods and higher user friendliness. We did a lot of testing in our new testing facilities at our Head quarters and we put our latest machine innovation successful in the market. In 2010 we delivered and sold over 10 pieces of our biggest hammer mill with automatic screen exchange. It has been proved our GD hammer mill with automatic screen exchange is the absolute top for the total package; flexibility, efficiency and industrial design.
A lot of work has been done to introduce a new Document Management System (DMS) which will work together with our CRM and ERP system. With this customized software program all communication internal as well as external will be filed in one system and is accessible to all.
On our R&D and engineering department drawings in 3D have become the new way of working. These 3D drawings have all information to generate all workshop drawings and will give us the opportunity to offer spare parts via exploded view drawings on the internet in the near future.
We participated at many exhibitions on a worldwide basis and for all our branch activities where we met a great deal of interesting people and companies. For our customers throughout the world, 2010 was a year in which new machinery was started-up as well as new production lines and complete plants.

As the winner of the Limburg Export Award 2009 Van Aarsen in November served as hosts for the annual ceremony organized by the Chamber of Commerce. Nearly 150 people were in the stylishly decorated final assembly production hall to witness the ceremony. From the three nominees Scelta Mushrooms from Venlo got the best credits of the jury and became the successor to Van Aarsen.

From the above we can conclude that 2010 has brought us the prosperity we wished for one year ago and is a confidence-boost for the coming year 2011.
At the beginning of 2011 all our office employees will start working on new PC’s, so we are able to work with the newest programs on every department.
In the production department a completely new 5-axis machining centre will be installed in the first week of January. This machine makes shorter production times possible and brings new production possibilities.
