The RCRA Hazardous Waste Identification Course is designed to help participants determine RCRA regulatory compliance status. Class exercises and case studies provide the information and resources necessary for determining whether a waste is hazardous and the resulting proper management. Topics covered include: •definitions •solid and hazardous waste exclusions •listed wastes •characteristic waste •mixture and derived from rules •delisted waste •universal wastes •generator status •problem wastes •determination of legitimate recycling. Each participant receives an extensive course notebook on RCRA waste identification and is taught how to use it as a working reference manual.
