The Journal of the U.S. SJWP is published electronically on an annual basis.  Authors are selected from state winners of the U.S. Stockholm Junior Water Prize (SJWP).  The journal’s purpose is to share the fresh and sometimes novel thinking of these bright young scientists with the water professionals’ community.  In addition to the benefits of research exchange, students are mentored in scientific writing and publication.

Projects of the SJWP seek to improve quality of life by enhancing water quality, water resources management, water protection, or water and wastewater treatment.  Papers present theoretical and applied science based projects as well as those projects focused on solving community water problems.  The scope may be on local, regional, national, or global topics.
