Co2balance achieve ISO 14001 for a second year
co2balance are pleased to announce we have passed our annual surveillance of the ISO 14001 certification. Using our own experience, as well as our trained Audit Team we now offer clients a service to help you too achieve ISO14001
ISO 14001 is an internationally accepted standard outlining how businesses should put an effective environmental management system in place. Its purpose is to help businesses remain commercially successful without forgetting their environmental responsibilities. The system of ISO 14001 provides companies with a framework to allow you to meet customer expectations of corporate responsibility as well as legal requirements.
In order to get our pass, an independent auditor came in and several items were reviewed. These included –
- Actions taken to correct the non conformances received during the previous audit
- Internal audits and management review
- Effectiveness of the management system in achieving defined objectives
- The progress of planned continual improvement activities
- Continuing operational control
- Objectives, targets and programs
- Evaluation of compliance
With the help of our senior consultant Runako Charles, co2balance passed the ISO 14001 certification for another year with no minor or major non conformances. Well done team!
