Spanish office of Severn Trent Services changes name

Severn Trent Services / Apliclor changes name to Severn Trent Services, leveraging an array of water and wastewater treatment solutions available to southwestern Europe.

Severn Trent Services / Apliclor, the company formed when Severn Trent Services acquired Barcelona-based P.S. Apliclor S.A. in 2009, will now be known simply as Severn Trent Services. The move to the Severn Trent Services name will allow the business in Spain to leverage the scale and experience of the Severn Trent Services group, providing customers a wider range of solutions and improved levels of service. Severn Trent’s full scope of water purification treatment technologies will now be more accessible to the Spanish market.

Enric Cardoner, operations director for Severn Trent Services’ European Water Purification business, said, “The Apliclor name was retained for a transition period after the acquisition by Severn Trent Services to take advantage of the brand recognition and tradition of outstanding service the company had earned in Spain for nearly 100 years. Although the transition period is now over, the Apliclor name will continue to be used as a product brand within the Spanish office’s chemicals business. Our company name is changing, but our customers will continue to receive the excellent service they had become accustomed to receiving from Severn Trent Services / Apliclor. “

Severn Trent Services also introduced a new website domain for customers in Spain: www.severntrentservices.es.
