How to optimise the use of bioenergy for Europe’s climate efforts
Bioenergy can substantially reduce Europe`s greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to achieving the EU`s renewable energy target, says a new report by the European Environment Agency. Gore urges Obama to deliver 100 per cent renewables within a decade
As speculation mounts that he could be offered the post of climate change czar in the Obama administration, former vice president Al Gore has called on the president elect to go way beyond his election pledges and set a target of switching the US to 100 per cent renewable energy within 10 years.
