Taiwan unveils US$1.3bn green energy investment package
Taiwan has unveiled plans to invest US$1.36bn in its domestic renewable energy sector in a move that will likely benefit local makers of solar cells, wind turbines and power efficient light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The government said that it is aiming to boost production value from low carvbon industires from US$4.9bn last year to US$35bn in 2015.
