Renewable energies will benefit US workers` Health, expert predicts
Expansion of renewable energies should appreciably improve the health status of the 700,000 US workers employed in the energy sector, according to a commentary by Medical College of Wisconsin researchers, in Milwaukee. Their review is published in the August 19, 2009, issue of JAMA, the Journal of the American Medical Association. EPA awards US$6.1 million in recovery act funds to clean up underground petroleum leaks in PA
In an effort to protect people where they live, work, and play, EPA announced the distribution of US$6,163,000 to Pennsylvania under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 to assess and clean up underground storage tank petroleum leaks.
