Counting the cost of ozone pollution on crops
A recent study has calculated crop losses as a result of surface ozone pollution. The study suggests that future earnings will be significantly reduced by ozone damage to crops, especially for some developing and agriculture-dependent countries. Surface ozone is an air pollutant that forms as a result of chemical reactions between other pollutants, particularly emissions from motor vehicles and industry. The study predicts the impact of ozone pollution on crops for the year 2030, and compares the results to estimates of losses in crop yields at the start of the millennium. This allowed the researchers ...
IAEA promotes safe, responsible development of uranium resources

Update on Ongoing Patent Infringement Issues

Adventus Group holds various patents for in situ remediation of contaminated soils and groundwater by trenching, injecting or otherwise placing iron below ground. Since issuance of the patents, our methods have been widely used around the world. Unfortunately, some individuals and entities have copied our methods, without paying for them, and sought to market them as their own. Some have also made factually inaccurate representations in an effort to deceive the public about the effectiveness of their products, and sought to disparage our ideas and methods. Over the years, a number of entities have tried to appropriate our technologies without respecting patent rights by paying industry-standard royalties. In all instances, they have been required to acknowledge our patent rights and pay fair royalties. The most recent issue related to our patent suite involves Remediation Products Inc. (RPI) and their BOS-100 product. Please note clearly that all the Adventus patents remain valid, in full force and effect.
