Nearly 40% of UK`s top recycling firms in financial trouble
According to industry analysts Plimsoll Publishing 38 per cent of the UK’s top 1000 recycling firms are in financial trouble. At 23 per cent, almost a quarter of the recycling companies were given a ‘danger’ rating meaning their survival is now in question. Another 15 per cent were given a ‘caution’ rating, warning they are in a weakened financial position. Sainsbury`s throws out cereal boxes in packaging overhaul
The days of the cereal box could be numbered, after Sainsbury`s announced a major overhaul of the company`s approach to packaging intended to cut the weight of packaging for its products by a third by 2015.
