 | US$480m in loans for Argentine water and sanitation program The Finance Minister of Argentina, Martin Lousteau, and the President of the Inter-American Development Bank, Luis Alberto Moreno, on Monday signed a US$360 million conditional credit line for investment projects (CCLIP) and the first US$120 million loan under the CCLIP to support better water and sanitation in poor communities.  | IDB approves US$1.1bn in environmental loans in 2007, mainly for water projects The Inter-American Development Bank Group delivered a record lending program in 2007, approving $9.6 billion in financing for projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, according to the IDB’s latest Annual Report. The amount was a record high, excluding emergency loans. For the 14th year in a row the IDB was the main source of multilateral lending to Latin America and the Caribbean.
