In order to sort and clean the PET-Bottles the bales (with or without wires) have to be opened and the bottles must fall out separately on the conveyor belt. You can even open up briquettes with PET-bottles as well in the ACTA-machine. Paper Bales (with or without wires) must be opened before entering into the pulper. By loosen up the paper, the paper gets a bigger surface and will be dissolved much quicker than one big bale. Incineration plants do not always have the capacity to burn all the waste or some of the plants are simply closed down during the summer. The collected waste (from the industry and households) must be pressed in Bales in order to be stocked until the incineration plant is ready to receive it again.
