For potable/process water, clarified water turbidity is normally reduced to 0.5 NTU or less at rise rates of between 40-60 m/hr. For wastewater, the reduction is typically 85-95% of SS, 50-60% of COD and 85-95% of P at rise rates of between 80-120 m/hr.
