AF-Press is especially designed for P&P sludges. The size and geometry are chosen on the basis of sludge properties. Thanks to a wide size range and tailor-made process design, it is possible to handle sludges from 5 BDt/d up to 140 BDt/d with one line. When high compressing forces can be used, the extremely strong construction allows a very high torque.

• AF-Press is specifically designed for final dewatering of different sludges in the pulp and paper industry.
• By means of AF-Press it can be dewatered wastewater sludges (primary and secondary), DIP sludges and internal circuit sludges.

Conical, low speed screw presses are suitable especially for difficult sludges which can not rapidly be pressed or sludges which contain also pressable material (high torque can be used).

Pressing is made in the whole screw length acc. to the sludge properties. The best possible results are achieved by means of tailor-made process design.

AF-Belt is available in 2.0 and 2.8 meter wire widths to accommodate a wide range of design capacities. AF-Belt is constructed from stainless steel with a simple robust frame which provides an extremely rigid structure to maintain the roll alignment and to reduce the life cycle maintenance costs.
