ARTECH - RD Series - Dual Shaft Industrial Shredders

The ARTECH RD Series are low speed, high torque, dual shaft industrial shredders. The RD Series have a 50' x 24' or 36' x 24' cutting chamber capable of processing a wide range of materials such as tires, paper, plastic, medical waste, wood waste, and much more. All units are powered by variable speed electric or closed loop hydraulic drives; delivering optimum production with the most efficient power utilization.


ARTECH engineers will custom design cutting knife profiles and shredder specifications to meet your specific requirements. Shredder control panels feature a PLC and touch screen operator interface to control shredder speed and functions as well as logging all system activity. Custom designed stands and hoppers can be manufactured to meet site specific or application requirements.

The following design features have been incorporated into the RD Series to increase durability and reduce service and maintenance time and cost: split end plates, hardened bulk head walls, adjustable cleaning fingers and proprietary bearing protection and knife stack locking mechanism.
