The BevAlert Model 8900 has been a very popular choice for industries that needed reliable and accurate monitoring of Acetaldehyde, BTEX, Vinyl Chloride, and Methanol impurities in CO2. This same expertise has been applied to our development of the BevAlert to convert Sulfur Dioxide, Carbonyl Sulfide, Hydrogen Sulfide, and other organic sulfides in a reactor to display a total sulfur reading. These analyses in combination with our Series 9000 Total Hydrocarbon Analyzer provide the solution for complying with ISBT methods.
Analyzer
The BevAlert® Model 8900 is a specialized instrument utilized by specialty gas manufacturers and the food and beverage industry to monitor trace volatile organic compounds or total sulfur in CO2 used in carbonated beverages (water, carbonated drinks, beer, etc.) as well as quick frozen foods.
The Series 8900 is a multi-purpose gas chromatograph designed to continuously monitor single or multiple gas components in a wide range of applications. The analyzer is microprocessor based and contains powerful embedded firmware. This makes it an online instrument with GC technology that is virtually transparent to the end user.
The 8900's automatic calibration is ideal for unattended operation. It can be set up on a bench-top or rack-mounted, and its compact size makes it transportable. There are a variety of industry standard outputs, such as network (LAN), RS232, multiple 4-20 mA or 0-20 mA, and multiple relays for alarm, diagnostics or user specified timed events.
The application is configured at the factory before delivery with SkyChrom™ software from Baseline®. The computer can be disconnected and the analyzer will operate independently. When connected to SkyChrom™, data can be collected in a universal text format with a user definable data export utility for reports. Chromatograms can be stored continuously or based on events such as alarms.
