The Dual-Shear™ M55 two shaft shredder utilizes a high-torque, low-speed design to efficiently deliver multipurpose shredding with greater reliability and lower maintenance requirements than other technologies. M55 two shaft shredders are available in both electric and hydraulic versions to meet your specific processing requirements. The Dual-Shear™ shredder outputs “strips” that are the width of the cutters. SSI’s robust design includes direct drive, “floating” cleaning fingers, patented ACLS™, and autoreversing on material overload that enables processing of the most difficult materials without damage to the shredding unit.
