The Economy Batch Unit-200 (EBU-200) is a low price alternative to other wastewater treatment systems available. This unit features a horizontal elliptical tank, rather than the traditional cone bottom tank. This particular model is preferred by those industries that have height restrictions. This model utilizes a 200-gallon reaction tank with two 1/3 hp mixing motors. The reaction tank is filled with wastewater, the Floccin™ is added and mixed with the wastewater, then the mixers are turned off and the drain valves are opened. The flocculated water drains through the filter bags, which pass the clean water and retain the flock sludge. The solids in the filter bag are allowed to drain and dry over time, for easy disposal. Dewatering 200 gallons takes approximately 60 minutes (depending on specific water treated). Dewatering Bags can be used several times before disposal, and the rollaway container makes it easy to transport full filter bags.
