BIOGAS-GW: Organic Waste Anaerobic Digestion System As consumers demand more sustainable solutions for their waste management and energy needs, anaerobic digestion of organic waste streams provides an environmentally friendly alternative to landfi lls and a sustainable source of renewable energy to help reduce our consumption of fossil fuels.
EISENMANN’s proprietary BIOGAS Green Waste technology utilizes anaerobic digestion to convert high solid waste organics to biogas. The biogas can either be directed to a combined heat and power (CHP) system to produce electrical power or it can be cleaned/ compressed and fed into the natural gas pipeline. It can also be used as a transportation fuel alternative. Additionally, the process produces a nutrient rich soil amendment co-product. When directed to a CHP system, the waste heat generated can be used by local residential or commercial facilities.
The BIOGAS-GW high solids anaerobic digestion system can handle a broad range of organic waste streams. This fl exibility allows operators to receive a variety of wastes from a multitude of sources.
