Eisenmann - BIOGAS-AG - Technology For Agriculture - Organic Waste to Energy using Anaerobic Digestion

Eisenmann’s BIOGAS-AG technology utilizes anaerobic digestion to convert manure and catch crops to energy. The biogas can either be directed to a combined heat and power (CHP) system to produce electrical power or it can be cleaned/compressed and fed into the natural gas pipeline or utilized as a transportation fuel alternative.

Advantages

  • Pre-Engineered, Modular Designs
  • Closed System for Odor Control
  • Reduced Green House Gas Emissions
  • Waste Heat for Heating and Cooling Requirements of Farm
  • Potential for Additional Income Streams
  • Proven Solution from Experienced Technology Provider

The BIOGAS-AG system is an integrated waste to energy solution. The modular pre-engineered design incorporates the latest in material handling and feedstock pre-processing technologies. A typical system includes multiple input channels to accept a range of feedstock and the ability to separate unwanted contamination. The closed system design mitigates concerns over odor.

Eisenmann has the experience, resources and end-to-end process knowledge to achieve the best and most sustainable return on investment.

Organic Waste to Energy

BIOGAS-GW: Organic Waste Anaerobic Digestion System As consumers demand more sustainable solutions for their waste management and energy needs, anaerobic digestion of organic waste streams provides an environmentally friendly alternative to landfi lls and a sustainable source of renewable energy to help reduce our consumption of fossil fuels.

EISENMANN’s proprietary BIOGAS Green Waste technology utilizes anaerobic digestion to convert high solid waste organics to biogas. The biogas can either be directed to a combined heat and power (CHP) system to produce electrical power or it can be cleaned/ compressed and fed into the natural gas pipeline. It can also be used as a transportation fuel alternative. Additionally, the process produces a nutrient rich soil amendment co-product. When directed to a CHP system, the waste heat generated can be used by local residential or commercial facilities.

The BIOGAS-GW high solids anaerobic digestion system can handle a broad range of organic waste streams. This fl exibility allows operators to receive a variety of wastes from a multitude of sources.

Applications

  • Composting Facilities
  • Landfi lls
  • Waste Management Companies
  • Institutional/Commercial Waste Generators
  • Renewable Energy Project Developers

Advantages of BIOGAS-GW

EISENMANN’s proprietary BIOGAS-GW system is an integrated organic waste to energy solution. The modular pre-engineered design of the BIOGAS-GW takes advantage of the latest in material handling and feedstock pre-processing technologies. A typical system includes multiple input channels to accept a range of feedstock and the ability to separate unwanted contamination. The closed system design mitigates concerns over odor.

  • Proven Solution
  • Feedstock Flexibility
  • Closed System Design for Odor Control
  • End-to-End Process Knowledge

To ensure optimum value is extracted from the process, EISENMANN works with you to get the most out of the digestate co-products. EISENMANN’s proprietary custom blended micro-nutrient additives assure that your system is always operating at peak health and extracting the most potential from your renewable energy feedstock.

Understanding soil amendment value and how to integrate biogas operations within your existing or planned operations is one of the ways EISENMANN ensures your project is a success.

BIOGAS-GW: Organic Waste Anaerobic Digestion System

  1. A variety of organic waste sources can be added to the BIOGAS-GW.
  2. Continuously mixed horizontal plug fl ow high solids anaerobic digester.
  3. Conditioned biogas is directed to consumer (CHP, Pipeline, CNG)
  4. Renewable energy to consumer (CHP produces electricity and heat).
  5. Soil Amendment: Digestate can be used directly or separated into liquid/solids-cake portions for use or further processing.
