Polymeric structure consisting of bundles of fibers or strips arranged in an open regular structure, protected or not against corrosion. Commonly used for applications of reinforcement and consolidation of soils, Geogrids are manufactured by extrusion, bonding, weaving or welding processes, which results in different types of interlacing.
There are also Organic and Biodegradable Geogrids for Reinforcement, used for Erosion Control applications and protection of margins
